We are please to offer this repeat breeding due May 30, 2010.  Josie's sire is CH Caer Bren Superhero, MH.  Hero is an exceptional young Champion-Master Hunter that is producing both show winners and hunt test competitors.  Josie combines an appealing confirmation with an intense retrieving desire and a lovable, eager-to-please personality.  Josie's dam is our foundation female GMHR Morning Sun Zena, who has consistently produced outstanding progeny from many different matings.  Josie is OFA Excellent, Elbows Normal and current on her CERF.  Josie is a NAHRA Working Retriever and needs 1 qualification in NAHRA Senior to achieve her Master Hunting Retriever title.  In addition, she has two AKC Master Qualifications toward her Master Hunter title.  Josie's greatest accomplishment may be her outstanding upland hunting talents that she has developed over 4 trips to the prairies of South Dakota.  A tireless hunter with a keen nose and knack for knowing where the birds are, she has passed these traits down to her offspring from the first litter.

GMHRCH Deep Run Desperado, MH was chosen as the sire for this litter based on his proven record of producing outstanding progeny when mated to females from Zena's line.  GMHR Morning Sun Amazing Miss M, SH, MHR Irvine's Morning Sun Madison, SH, Morning Sun Mandy, SH, Morning Sun Miley, Stone Ridge Yukon Gold are all examples of the mating of Hombre with either Zena or one of her daughters.  The first litter from this mating produced pups with exceptional good looks, extreme retrieving desire and excellent temperaments.  Hombre is OFA Excellent, Elbows normal and current on his CERF.
