Indy is the fourth generation of yellow females born and raised at Morning Sun Retrievers. Her mother, grandmother, and great grandmother all earned Master Hunter titles, and she carries on the tradition as she attained her Senior Hunter title and will be working on the Master Hunter title after this litter. Indy is co-owned with our longtime friend Cary Irvine and her family. When not in training, Indy resides at the Irvine household and is an integral part of their family. Indy is OFA Good, Elbows Normal, CERF, EIC, CNM, and Dilute Gene Clear.

On April 10th, we welcomed a litter of all yellow puppies! On April 26th we welcomed a second litter, yellow and black pups! It's been over a year since we had puppies so it's a very exciting time! Both litters are sired by Hunter's Orion, MH, QA2 (Star) and are out of Morning Sun females. Morning Sun Independence, SH (Indy) and Morning Sun Khalesi, SH (Dani) are both superb mothers! Star is an awesome young sire. From an early age it was very obvious that he was going to be special. Exceptionally intelligent and strikingly handsome, he is blessed with incredible marking and athletic ability and a fun-loving and playful disposition. He competed and accumulated seven derby points in limited trials, breezed through his Master Hunter Title and won a forty-two dog Qualifying in his second event before his third birthday. He has since achieved the QA2 while in training for Amateur all age stakes. He is OFA Good, Elbows Normal, CERF, EIC, CNM, and PRA Clear.
Dani is fourth generation from our foundation female, GMHR Morning Sun Zena. Dani is sired by FC Pompano Jack and her mother is Morning Sun from Guns to Wheels, MH, owned by our friend Kelly Hall. She is a talented retriever, with three AKC Master passes and extensive waterfowl and upland experience in Manitoba and South Dakota. Her most admirable trait may be her loving and attentive personality. She is great around other dogs and children. Dani is OFA Excellent, elbows normal, CERF, EIC and CNM clear, and clear for the Dilute gene.
